There are rumors that the results of the bar examinations in 2014 will be released today, March 19, but the online edition of Manila Bulletin reports that the results are expected next week yet, on Thursday, March 26, 2015.
Considered the most difficult professional regulatory examination in the country, the bar exam is administered by the Supreme Court. The 2014 bar examinations was chaired by Supreme Court Justice Diosdao M. Peralta.
According to Manila Bulletin, of the 6,344 law graduates who were accredited to take the examinations, only 5,994 examinees finished the exams on the first and second Sundays of October last year at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila.
The bar exams were used to be held for four Sundays in September in La Salle University at Taft Avenue but was moved to October in the University of Sto. Tomas along España Avenue.
Eight law subjects are covered in the examinations that have been administered by the SC, under the law and by tradition, since 1900.
The full list of 2014 Bar Examination passers will be posted in this blog once it is released by the Supreme Court.
