Next month, October, the Philippines will once again hold its annual Bar examinations which is administered by the Supreme Court every Sunday of such month. As part of the reforms in the exams started in 2009, which started with the two-examiners per subject rule, this year's exams reportedly will still follow the modified format of mixed essay type (40%) and multiple choice type (60%).
According to the Inquirer.net report, the exams will revert to the two subjects per Sunday format unlike last year where two Sundays had three subjects to accommodate the memorandum and legal opinion writing on the last day.
In keeping with the policy to be transparent with the actual coverage of the exams and to focus on the basics of the law, the Supreme Court has published online the syllabus for each of the subjects covered in the exams.
