Recommended sources in Remedial Law

Dean Willard B. Riano's books are getting attention from students, professors and judges

This is in response to casualfriday's comment on my recent post (Law's Archaic Language). She (I would presume casualfriday is a she) asked what book I could recommend in Civil Procedure. I recommend Dean Willard B. Riano's book in Civil Procedure (Rex Bookstore). It was what my professor in Remedial Law Review used last year. It's annotations have also been quoted by some judges. I browsed through it, it's really good, a very clear and well-organized book. He also authors reviewers in Criminal Procedure and Evidence.

Another excellent study material in Remedial Law is Lakas Atenista's transcription of the late Ateneo de Davao College of Law dean Hildegardo F. IƱigo's lectures. Very comprehensive and easy to read, and is well-grounded on litigation realities. I have a copy, but I don't have permission to reproduce it.
